So "You" is in fact delusional nonsense. It would be the end of ego.

"you" is the part of one that makes the decisions that are unconstrained by external circumstances or by an agency such as fate or divine will. so "you" is basically free will and both are nonsense. "you" does not exist, since all choices can be traced back to reasons that were present before you were born, which you obviously have no control over.

"the point is that those 'reasons' are really what drives the outcome of the choice and not you." Exactly what is a "you" ?

you say you have reasons behind your choices at first, but then you seem to imply that there are no reasons for choosing heads over tails. the 'free will doesn't exist' argument basically states that you have reasons behind ALL your choices and what you call those reasons (thought processes, genetics, environment) is IRRELEVANT. the point is that those 'reasons' are really what drives the outcome of the choice and not you.
