My friend, At least you have national health insurance and your health expenses is covered and you can get treated for your health problems or seizures any time, any where. NOT IN USA. Many of us are denied treatment because we lost everything for seizures, after having paid our taxes for a life time. Having seizures is a nightmare and being denied treatment for seizures is hell. Count your blessing, for others like you are having it worst than you. I wish you the best, Good luck.

Did you know their are only 5 neurologists in Ireland and I have to travel to Cork once a year to see mine and then its usually one of his apprentices.
When I go up there I see people with all sorts of illnesses to do with the brain.
When i have mine I hear voices then I black out and wake up, once I lost two of my teeth and did not even now till the next morning,, I have a denture now.

Dear Lou, Thank you for you caring heart. Besides surviving the odds of seizures every now and then, being homeless, I'm ONLY allowed to use very limited time of the public library Internet access computers, which are NOT always available and accessible. In most cases I'm NOT be able to access the Internet as much as I would like too therefore I can NOT respond & reply in time. I hope you understand. Thank you for your concern to my well being.

Oh god, I don know you Gerrie, but when you do not reply on here I think something bad has happened and i worry about you..Seriously, The last few months, Ive been having a religious depbate with myself, not knowing who to go to, but it doessn't matter which one i am praying to, you are always in my prayers. im lucky so far as i havent had any seizures with this new medication im taking. Im abit wary of taking tablets which my affect my anticonvolsut medication. I have been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in my left knee, so my dr put me on Celebrex. Oh well, people worse off than me. I must ask you something. Is that in the video? I hope things pick up for you Gerrie. Take care (K)

Dear Aprile, I understand your pain, I live it every day, There's nothing to get used to Epilepsy or seizures. Every seizure still is still unpredictable. Nobody knows, where, when and how the next seizure is going to strike. Nobody knows the physical, neurological and physiological damage of the next seizure. It's an endless nightmare people are forced to live with. Sad life has to be this way. The struggle for life must go on. Wishing you and your son all the best.
