usama2 ::: Favorites But in order for Darfur to gain autonomy, there must enough chaos to ignite global outrage against Khartoum & the Darfur rebels must last. So various powers have been arming the Darfur rebels for years, including Chad, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and most likely Libya, others. Recent events in Chad led the Chadian govt to break from its commitment to American energy rights and to side with China. The worst part: the people are the pawns of foreign powers and the regional govts and rebels all for oil. 07-09-20 01:05:28 __________________________________________________
usama2 ::: Favorites But now, various foreign forces have supported hte Darfur rebel factions in order to weaken the Khartoum based state. Why? Because Darfur has massive oil reserves. Moreover, the existing oil rights for Darfur are in the hands of a Chinese firm through Khartoum. If Darfur gains independence, those rights are invalid by intl law. Whose waiting to take over? America. 07-09-20 01:00:34 __________________________________________________
usama2 ::: Favorites Folks don't know the actual history of events. It started as a clash between nomadic herders and farmers. Then the farmers for rebel groups, took over a city and several military bases. The Khartoum govt was too weak to send massive forces, so they 'hired' the nomadic herders, their fee was take what you want. 07-09-20 00:58:07 __________________________________________________

Johnnhall ::: Favorites Darfur is not a US problem. Let Africa solve African problems. Let Europe solve European problems and the Middle East solve their own problems. 07-09-17 14:49:37 __________________________________________________
Vaultese ::: Favorites Fuck Darfur. Why the hell should the U.S. baby sit the rest of the God damned world when we've got enough problems of our own right fucking here? Morons! 07-09-17 05:54:19 __________________________________________________
jadeell27 ::: Favorites I find the more aware I am about global issues the clearer my perspective is in regard to my own backyard, enabling me to function more effectively within it : ) 07-09-16 23:51:44 __________________________________________________
ikonakonae ::: Favorites Very sad to know whats going on with global issues that aways test our feelings, but what's most important is what's going on in our own back yard and how you feel about that. 07-09-16 21:16:32 __________________________________________________
RealityFD ::: Favorites The ignorance and indifference in these replies is unbelievable. I'm really hoping these are "jokes." But I'm known to be a bit of a wishful thinker. Leave it to the richest, fattest country in the world, to also be the most embarrassing & inhumane. Word to the wise; To whom much is given, much is required. 07-09-16 19:02:01 __________________________________________________ |
