Background: YouTube.com doesn't have an ART CATEGORY. They should have. Scrap that. WE should have. So I started an open collaboration project. Whoever wanted to make a 1 minute video of themselves making art [featuring the slogan MAKE ART]. The response was truely overwhelming, with almost 300 video responses to date, and more being submitted daily. The project has taken over my life somewhat, but only because I let it, and it inadvertently resulted in me leaving my job to put the edit together. There were other reasons, but it was a contributory factor in getting the confidence to move forward with what I really wanted to do. The edit has taken about a week, and I used iMovie.
