Description: This is my 2nd video featuring Detroit's ghetto. This one I filmed entirely in December 2006, last time I visited Detroit. I am originally from Detroit (suburbs) by the way, I lived there my whole life until I moved in 2004... so don't be the jackass that says I made a video of Detroit and don't know anything about the city. Like ANY city, Detroit has it's good and bad areas... these are the bad areas. That is the point of the video, to show the worst ares of Detroit. Every city has rundown neighborhoods, but no city I have ever seen or heard of in the US is as bad as Detroit.

camosilver ::: Favorites you definitely have to be careful in the ghetto. a few times we did get shouted at, threated to be shot, etc. we didn't stick around to find out, just keep driving by. you know it's funny, black people can drive in a white neighborhood and be safe and not get hassled, but you wouldn't believe the way black people were threatening us... specifically citing that we where white and on their street, leave or get shot... just for driving down the street, even without the camera in view. 07-09-13 00:57:40 __________________________________________________

I'm from Toronto and I was always a fan of the Detroit Hockey team, but I had no idea how bad the economic situation has become in Detroit and Michigan as a whole. camosilver ::: Favorites if i hear one more person talk about how great downtown is, i am going to flip out. i know downtown is decent. but if you READ THE FUCKING DESCRIPTION OF THE VIDEO, you'd realized that the video isn't depicting detroit as a whole, only the ghetto. the fact that downtown is nice doesn't mean the ghetto isn't there. some of you may be familiar with the term "only as strong as it's weakest link"... which applies here. anyone from now on who brings up how great downtown is will get BLOCKED! 07-09-08 09:48:50 __________________________________________________
DETROITCITYarchitect ::: Favorites These parts of the city are sad. But most don't look at the nice parts. The city is about 40% ghetto and 60% decent to pretty nice.Downtown has made a nice return although the economy is currently bad.
