tpvalley ::: Favorites What mods can u do to the engine? I read some rules and they wouldn't let u even change the carb, or would that be a different type? Be good if u could put bigger carb, freeflow zaust, high ratio/lift rockers etc? 07-09-03 05:13:23 _____________________________________________________
chrisfarlywannabe ::: Favorites u gotta cut the front end in half and add 5 inches to widen it and then weld it sold to the frame if u move it up it will lower the front by a lot 07-08-28 11:01:22 _____________________________________________________
chrisfarlywannabe ::: Favorites u have to put a smaller pully on the tranny and a bigger pully on the motor 07-08-28 10:58:11 _____________________________________________________

therainbowboxer ::: Favorites make sure you buy a good cast iron pulley, or at least a stamped steel one... those crappy cast aluminum ones wear away too quick. Kudos on the spider gear welding - we've been doing lincoln lockers for a few years now :) 07-06-01 00:47:06 _____________________________________________________
aspirepower101 ::: Favorites go to tractor supply co and get a pulle with the same shaft size as your motor i used a 4.5 in pulley on the motor and i think a 4 in on the transmission 07-05-31 16:42:31 _____________________________________________________
aspirepower101 ::: Favorites yea a little bit new axles in the front and the seat springs out on the one 07-05-31 16:40:58 _____________________________________________________
aspirepower101 ::: Favorites ummm ya have to get pulley with a bigger hole in it so it fits your motor and to get them off you need a gear puller cause they are usually rusted on get just a single pulley that fits your motor shaft and you have to line it up with the belt and put the keyway in and tighten it down with the hex key and put your belt on, youll need a new belt too to fit it 07-05-31 16:40:24 _____________________________________________________ |
