i think that Elfman's score is still breathtaking, but the Tim Burton Batman was too over the top and goofy not more than ol' Joel's cheese, but still not what I wanted in tone to a Batman movie, i think it would be cool to see a cut of the new movie with the old score, but I think as Batman Begins stands on its own with its score its perfect

But again I love this edit. It's proof that not everybody forgot about Danny Elfman's score as well as the brilliance of Tim Burton's take on Batman.

Both styles are superb in their own unique way and people need to realize that, instead of saying that HZ and JNH's score is God's word, because Batman Forever and Batman and Robin tarnished the first modern Batman anthology. All the Batman films (Except BForever and BandR) are pure awesome... They execute different styles. One is more zanny and silly the way Burton's movies are, and the other is more dramatically serious which is pure awesome as well.

And I don't give a flying fuck what other ignorant people think: Danny Elfman's take on the Batman musical scores were just as great as Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard's.

And it's unfortunate because the travesty films that are Batman Forever and Batman and Robin do harm to Tim Burton's career because they are sequels based after Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1991) but were NOT made by him. And it's the majority population that doesn't understand that, so despite Burton's brilliant takes on the Batman franchise..... He suffers anyway, yet he was not intentionally affiliated with Batman Forever and Batman and Robin in ANY way.

Good idea! Well done edit! However, people have to understand something: Tim Burton's Batman movie were awesome. The thing a few handful of people actually understand is that the worst Batman movies (Batman Forever and Batman and Robin) were NOT made by Tim Burton. So while Tim Burton has the factual highlight of his career of making Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1991) which were great Batman movies, 3 and 4 came out after Burton's films but were NOT made by him.

I heard that Joel Schumacher wanted to do Scarecrow as the villain of the movie that was supposed to be after Batman and Robin. Batman and Robin was a disappointment and that was the end of the 1st Batman franchise. There was only 4 movies.

suoperman wasnt original. batman bgins was a complete new start. Chris Nolan wanted everything new, and danny elfmans style of music suit the tone or emotion of chris nolan's batman at all. hans zimmer is a beautiful choice and his music is far darker. its more emotional, and batman begins drives on emotion
