'03 WRX w/Custom 3" TBE and Tial BOV

trtrex ::: Favorites I agree the woosh is the bov...the ewg is more of a waaaaaaaa or something of the sort...I miss quoted the sound. There are a bunch of vids on here with what they sound like. The woosh is the BOV. the flutter is compressor surge from using such a stiff bov spring. the flutter at full boost before the woosh is just due to the bov not being able to release the pressure quick enough, thus causing compressor surge. A wastegate doesnt make noise. the wastegate slams shut under vacuum.... ALL fluttering is compressor surge (not BAD for the turbo, but it shortens the life by about a 1/4). 07-05-01 20:28:45 _____________________________________________________
