Smaug84 ::: Favorites While I understand how the Turks have treated the Kurds and label them "Mountain Turks" I truly and honestly believe that the Kurds would suffer beyond belief if they declared independence. The Turkish military will not stand for the creation of Kurdistan nor will the other neighbors like Iran, Syria, and perhaps even the Iraqi's themselves. Smaug84 ::: Favorites I honestly feel that its a mistake to ban alcohol. The reason I say that is because it caused the rise of various mafia's in the US and cemented their existence. Plus to pry into personal lives when it damages no one is a form of tyranny. A good example would be how would Muslims feel if American Christians told them how to live their lives? In the end it will only cause more hatred against ordinary Americans who increasingly have no say so in what their government does anymore.
