Description:
In response to posts which claimed that 'God hates sin so much that he has to punish it', here's my reply: well what was all that crap about forgiving sins then? My original statement still stands: God is not love. God is threats. But I can now add to that: BAD Christians go to heaven. GOOD atheists are barbecued in excruciating agony for a billion billion years, just because they don't love God. Of course atheists don't believe that. But Christians do. That's what's in the Bible, and that's what they teach to their children. |

ThereisnogodIMO ::: Favorites read your post again, then tell me who's mentally ill? 1,your calling some of'gods children' mentally ill 2,your 'god' is supposed to be benevolent and forgiving, but he will burn me up for not believing? forgiveness? I would have thought any god would be more disgusted with you for judging others and making him out to be an vengeful egomaniac, IN HIS NAME more than he hates any atheist 07-05-11 11:21:04 _____________________________________________________

FluffyMuffinMan ::: Favorites So if god is the creator of all and other shit, why did he make me mentally ill?, did he want me to go to hell before I even had a chance to sin? 07-06-12 23:44:26 _____________________________________________________
ChurchOfAtheism ::: Favorites Well, as long as the eternal torment is just, there's nothing to worry about. We all want peace and justice. 07-06-13 13:17:35 _____________________________________________________
loser078 ::: Favorites I agree that it doesn't make any sense for bad Christians to go to heaven but good Atheists to go to hell... but you make it seem as if as long as you "say" that you're sorry then you're forgiven, but it's the Christian belief that you have to be completely and truely remorseful for what you have done and if you beg for God's forgiveness, then you're off the hook...but even so...the whole concept is flawed. 07-06-14 19:21:33 _____________________________________________________
phsyxx ::: Favorites Can we make a distinction between God, and the Bible, please? I mean - I know the cyclical argument used around the two - but when you refute what something in the Bible says, people often confuse that with you refuting the concept of an overruling deity. "the bible is wrong when it says -" "but God can do anything" ...grrrrrrr!! it's not about God - it's about an absolutely ancient collection of scripture that was once wise, now the moral zeitgeist shows it to be outdated. 07-07-04 20:17:06 _____________________________________________________
